botanical dye workshop with Love City Brewing

Create one of a kind wearable art with botanicals! In this 2 hour workshop hosted by Love City Brewing Company, we'll learn a bit about the history of natural dyes and dye a cotton beanie using the technique of bundle dyeing. We will utilize a variety of dye material including dried flowers, plant extracts, and kitchen waste to create a range of natural color! 
 
Working with natural dyes is a practice in finding peace within the slow process and letting go of expectations- many plants yield surprising colors. You will leave with a new skill that encourages an appreciation for nature along with your plant dyed beanie!  No experience necessary and all materials will be provided by Earthencolor.
 
each registration includes:
-one plant dyed cotton beanie
-one drink ticket good for a beer, non-alcoholic beer, juice, or soda provided by Love City Brewing Company
