custom dye / reimagine with plant dyes

This offering is an invitation to collaborate in bringing a second life to an old favorite in your closet. Or maybe you have found that perfect dress/top/duvet cover but would like to see it in a different color or print! Natural dyes are the perfect way to completely reimagine a piece or hide staining. Any light colored fabric made of a natural fiber will work; so think cotton, linen, wool, or silk, even rayon (a regenerated cellulose fiber) will dye well. Blends may dye on a case by case basis, generally a polyester content of 15% or less will be ok. I am happy to answer any questions regarding fiber content so don't hesitate to reach out!
 
Rates will vary by piece but most garments will not exceed a total of $45, larger pieces such as a duvet cover may be more; I'm asking for a small deposit of $25 ~ after you complete check out I will be in touch via email to discuss your item and your vision for it's new life! After we determine how your piece is to be reimagined, an invoice will be sent with the remaining balance along with an address you can mail to! The images in this listing show some examples but there are no limits to possibility of color and print potential! All pieces in the images shown started white or off-white.
