this piece is a part of a very special collection of peony dyed wares. the blooms that helped create this colorway came from plants that have been cared for by my family for 4 generations and are 125+ years old. this piece is dedicated to honoring these beautiful flowers and their story.

short sleeve jacket in a breezy crepe silk fabric, the perfect light layer for warmer seasons. this fabric is mostly opaque (not sheer) with a matte texture that still has a slight sheen. it was dyed with a logwood and cutch base and then bundle dyed with peony blooms. due to the nuanced nature of the art of bundle dyeing, exact color placement and pattern may vary to what is pictured.
